I hesitate to tell everyone about this park \u2013 it is one of the best kept secrets in Prairie Village. Bennett Park is between Roe Ave and Nall Ave on 77th<\/sup> Street. The park is in wonderful condition, shaded, and usually we are the only people there. It has a large open area for soccer or baseball, 1 small basketball court, large play equipment for multiple ages, a climber, ride-on toys, and a small covered shelter.<\/p>\n Play Equipment<\/strong> The play equipment is near the road. It is not a busy street, but you do have to make sure the little ones do not wander too far.<\/p>\n Covered Shelter<\/strong> Open Space and Baseball\/Soccer Field<\/strong> Insider tips<\/strong><\/p>\n For a great park in Prairie Village, KS to teach your kids to ride their bikes: Windsor Park<\/p>\n

\nThere is a full-covered shelter next to the play equipment at the front of the park. It is large enough to cover 1 picnic table. \u00a0There are 2 other picnic tables, not covered toward the middle of the park.<\/p>\n
\nThese areas are set-off from the road so you do not have to worry about kids or balls rolling into the busy street. Great for running around, playing sports, or sitting on a blanket. The open space is not as shaded as the play-equipment.<\/p>\n\n
