Fritz\u2019s Railroad Restaurant is a train-themed diner-style restaurant. It is a fantastic place to take your family. The food is ok and it can get expensive \u2013 you definitely go for the atmosphere. Model trains run throughout the restaurant and your food is actually delivered by a train. The service is fast, the kids stay entertained, and you will actually have a chance to eat your meal without having to chase kids around the restaurant. It can get very busy during peak lunch and dinner times.<\/p>\n
Overall we like Fritz\u2019s Train Restaurant because:<\/strong><\/p>\n Kid Friendly Menu:<\/strong><\/p>\n When you are seated, kids get a train hat so they can play conductor.\u00a0 They have a kids menu with different meal options. We recommend sticking with burgers. The chicken nuggets are processed and previously frozen. The hotdogs are cut down the center and placed on hamburger buns. So, if your kids only eat \u201ctraditional\u201d hotdogs \u2013 beware! The meals include:<\/p>\n To save money, we recommend ordering off of the regular menu. The regular size fries are more than enough to share between 2 people and the burgers are not too big for kids.<\/p>\n Regular Menu:<\/strong><\/p>\n The regular menu also has a varied selection of diner-style food. They specialize in burgers, but also offer sandwiches, hotdogs, chili, and salads. One of the favorites is the Gen-Dare Hamburger. It has grilled onions, melted cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles and hash browns! However, the salad is not very fresh and, again, the hotdogs are cut and placed on a hotdog bun. They also offer breakfast starting at 7:30am. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and other specialties.
