If you are looking for a reasonably priced, family friendly restaurant for breakfast or lunch – First Watch is the place to go. It serves consistently good food with a variety of menu options. It has a relaxed atmosphere where you don’t have to worry about loud kids interrupting other people’s meals.
Overall we like First Watch because:
- Fast, friendly service
- Breakfast and lunch offered the whole day
- If you order coffee, they will place an entire carafe on your table – great for the morning caffeine boost
Kid Friendly Menu
The kid’s menu offers your usual breakfast and lunch fare like:
- Eggs and bacon
- French Toast
- Grilled cheese
- Turkey sandwich
However, it does also offer some healthy alternatives. One of my kid’s favorites is the Fresh Fruit Crepe. It is a thin crepe filled with bananas, strawberries, and kiwis with yogurt on top. You can also order this off the regular menu. You get two crepes in the full order and can split it.
- All kid’s meal come with a drink for around $4.50
Regular Menu:
The regular menu also offers a wide selection of breakfast foods. You can choose from a variety of omelettes, pancakes, and speciality items like the Caps Etc. Don’t miss the First Watch Potatoes. They are delicious! They also offer healthier items like Fresh Fruit Crepes and the Tri-Athlete Omelette. The healthier items are very tasty and still satisfying.
The lunch menu is a bit smaller and mostly includes salads and sandwiches. We suggest the
Santa Fe salad or Beefeater sandwich. You will not go home hungry – sandwiches are served with First Watch Potatoes, fruit, and a small salad.
- The regular menu items range from: $4.99 to $8.00
Insider Tips:
- Avoid Sunday mornings– it can be very crowded.
- The muffin-of-the-day is large — it can be a full meal with a side of fruit
- Order off the side-item menu for the littler ones. The portions are large — so if your child does not eat much, you might choose this over a full meal.
